Beth Butler embodies an impressive list of accomplishments from her 35 year career span. Beth began her real estate career with her own boutique real estate company practicing primarily commercial real estate. After transacting her first residential deal, she decided to move to a larger company to support her residential efforts which led her to the Keyes Company and to her first hotel condo conversion, The David Williams Hotel. In 1991, she held the District Sales Management position with The Keyes Company and in 1994, Beth moved to Esslinger, Wooten, Maxwell as the Sales Manager of the Coral Gables office. In her years at EWM, Beth moved up to General Manager and eventually became the Chief Operating Officer. Beth was instrumental to the success and expansion of the company taking them from 2 offices to 14 and creating the Development sales Division which successfully initiated and managed sales of over $2 billion in residential and commercial condominium sales, new construction and condo conversions.
In 2010, having developed a serious appreciation for the Sotheby’s International Realty brand, Beth joined ONE as President and Chief Operating Officer. Understanding the need for growth, even in a down market, Beth led the company from 1 office and 30 associates to 8 offices and 300 associates. She brought in management and administrative teams, and built the company into a leading position in luxury real estate in the highly competitive South Florida Market in just 3 short years with sales growth from $300 million in 2010 to $1.5 billion in 2012. In addition, Beth initiated the development of the award winning onesothebysrealty.com website, now considered the gold standard for luxury real estate sites. She developed and grew the project sales division, positioning the company to be the “go to” choice for sales of significant luxury projects in South Florida.
In 2013, Beth was named EVP of Sales and Marketing for Bright’s Creek Community in Tryon, North Carolina. Bright’s Creek is a 5,000 acre golf and equestrian high end community. Beth built a sales team that was able to sell homesites and spec homes to “domestic” market buyers to rebuild a community that had been dormant during the real estate downturn.
Two years later, Robert Reffkin CEO of Compass tapped Beth to lead the expansion of Compass into South Florida. In 3 short years, Compass grew to a statewide presence with 300 agents and a staff of 40 employees with leading market share positions in South Florida. During her term as Regional President, Beth also launched the New Development Sales Division for Florida. Most recently, Beth was promoted to Regional Director of Compass Development Marketing expanding the regional footprint to now include the Atlanta market, where the most recent addition to their portfolio is the Tower Residences at the Ritz Carlton - Buckhead.
